Author Guidelines

Introduction

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Language

The manuscript should be written in either British or American English, not a combination of the two in the same work.

Manuscript Typesetting

The manuscript should be typed on A4 sheets using Times New Roman 12-point font, single-spaced, with margins of 1 cm on the top, bottom, left, and right. All pages should be numbered at the top right. The manuscript should not be more than 15 pages.

Title

The title should be concise, self-explanatory, informative and accurately reflecting the content of the manuscript. Abbreviations should not be used on the title page. The title must appear in uppercase letters and be justified.

Author(s) Names and Affiliations

Author names and affiliations should be listed below the title. When using full names, list the first name, middle name, and surname. When using initials, abbreviate the first and middle names, followed by the full surname. Affiliations must follow immediately after the author names and include the department, institution, city, state (if applicable), and country. Capitalize each word in the affiliations and assign superscript numbers to both author names and affiliations for clear identification.

Abstract

The abstract should contain concise information written with a maximum length of 250 words. The abstract should summarize the entire work and state the purpose of the study, the number of research questions and hypotheses (if included), the methods, the findings, and at least one recommendation. Avoid the use of sub-headings and inclusion of citations in the abstract.

Keywords

List up to six keywords after the abstract, separated by commas. Avoid using terms such as “and,” “of,” and “in” as keywords.

Introduction

The introduction should provide sufficient background information and clearly state the motivation for the study. Key variables must be defined and supported with citations. The section should include the problem statement (if not already addressed), the study's purpose, research questions and hypotheses.

Methods

The methods section should present an overview of the procedures used in the study. This section must be written in prose and include details on the research design, study area, study population, sampling and sampling techniques, data collection instruments, validation and reliability of instruments, and methods of data collection and analysis.

Results

The results section should present the research questions, hypotheses and tables summarizing the statistical analyses. Visualization tools such as bar charts, pie charts and histograms may be included. Number all tables and visualizations, and place them near the relevant text with clear captions. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the results. Each figure must be numbered, captioned below and positioned appropriately within the manuscript.

Discussion

In the discussion section, present the findings, provide possible explanations and use previously published works to support or refute the results. Authors may also include their interpretations of the findings.

Conclusion

The conclusion must be grounded in the study's findings and should clearly articulate the major results and their implications.

Recommendations

Recommendations should be original and directly linked to the study's findings. Each major finding should be accompanied by a corresponding recommendation.

References

All authors must follow the 7th edition of APA style for in-text citations and reference lists. Every in-text citation must correspond to a reference entry to prevent plagiarism. Manuscripts should include between 10 and 22 references, with at least 25% of cited works published within the past 10 years. Self-citations should not exceed 5% of the total references.

The formatted manuscript should be in a Microsoft Word File and forwarded to editor.ijpaer@gmail.com
